Synopsis of Play
 
Keane's play about the struggle between the forces of good and evil and the mythical beliefs of 1930's rural Ireland deals with a man's ruthless lust for land, which overrides all family loyalties, and can ultimately lead to tragedy.

Shoestring Theatre Company have qualified 15 times for the Athlone Finals and have their own 100 seat theatre.

Since 1981, West Waterford Drama Festival is held in Ballyduff during March. Over three decades of dramatic excitement, community endeavour, investment in friendship and sheer good fun. All driven by an ethos of volunteerism, community and good humour. more
