In the Confined Section, two groups are certainly through - Breffni Players from Carrick-on-Shannon and Gunpowder Productions from Cork, the former with Don Nigro's "Scarecrow" and the latter with J.M. Synge's "The Tinker's Wedding", one a modern American drama, the other a classic Irish piece. Almost certainly in also is Coachford Drama Group with Daniel McIvor's "Never Swim Alone" - an award-winning Canadian satire. After that, though, it is down to the wire with Camross, Masquerade, Rush and D.A.D.S. all fighting it out for the two remaining qualification spots.
