Synopsis

This is a comedy about a Southern plumber called Bobby who travels North and meets Edna, who is a Protestant and a loyalist. Bobby brings Edna back down South and, of course, he being a Catholic and she being a Protestant, brings its own strain to the relationship. There are communication breakdowns and suspicions, which lead to all sorts of chaos.

History of the Group

Kilworth Dramatic Society has been in existence for over 75 years. Expression and enjoyment of oneself both on and off stage is the ethos of the group.  In 2019 we qualified for the All-Ireland Confined Finals with our production of Unforgiven.  This was a huge achievement for the Group.  We very much look forward to entertaining you tonight.
